1) How long have you been doing Pilates? Why did you decide to teach?

I started doing Pilates about 12 years ago and immediately fell in love. After hundreds of classes I wanted to push myself further and to gain a deeper understanding of the practice so I decided to become comprehensively certified in classical Pilates.  The more I learned from a teacher’s perspective the more I fell in love. I teach Pilates because I am passionate about it. I love helping others experience the benefit of the movement and enjoy helping them learn more about the method.

2) Why do you love to teach at the vault?

Vault is such a wonderful environment to teach in because not only are you surrounded by enthusiastic clients who appreciate Pilates; but you are constantly surrounded by other teachers all of which are excited to teach and to learn from each other. It’s such a supportive community.

3) What is your favorite workout to do in your free time?

Since the moment I discovered it, Pilates has been my favorite workout. I also enjoy circuit training, TRX and taking walks.

4) What’s one thing about you that most people don’t know?

I was born and raised right here in Boca Raton but I have always spent my summers camping, hiking, fishing and enjoying the outdoors of the western states like Montana, Colorado, Wyoming, and Idaho.

5) What’s the most rewarding thing about teaching Pilates?

Teaching Pilates lets me adhere to the old saying “practice what you preach”. I love that when I am between classes or clients I can take part in the practice myself.

6) What’s your favorite thing to do outside of fitness?

I am a huge foodie so I LOVE to go out to eat but I am also a pretty good cook.
