1) How long have you been working out? Why did you decide to teach?
I have been working out since I was a kid! I danced for years, ran track and field, and was a cheerleader in High School. Staying fit has always been important to me. I decided to start teaching because I love group fitness classes and it seemed to be an organic step for me since I spend so much time at the Vault!
2) Why do you love to teach at Vault?
I have been working out at the Vault since I moved to Florida almost five years ago. The Vault became my happy place before I even worked here. Being able to teach clients that I already feel connected to is rewarding and fun- and I even come up with ideas on how to outfit my students during class!
3) What is your favorite workout?
I love to run, but to save my knees, I run less and do rebounder trampoline workouts.
4) What’s one thing about you that most people don’t know?
People may or may not know that I have an identical twin sister, Cory, who lives in Boca. So if you see my replica around town, it may or may not be me!
5) What’s the most rewarding thing about teaching fitness?
Since I am new to teaching, I love to see repeat clients who keep coming back for more. It is my hope that they reach their fitness goals and have fun in my class doing it!
6) What’s your favorite thing to do outside of fitness?
Outside of fitness and fashion, I love to spend time with my family either relaxing at home, at the beach, or doing something outdoors.
7) Tell us about your job as the Vault Buyer?
I worked in Merchandising before I had kids in Manhattan for almost 15 years. I love using those skills while buying my favorite thing….leggings!
