1) How long have you been doing pilates? Why did you decide to teach?
I’ve been teaching pilates for over sixteen years. Before fitness, I worked at a brokerage firm and felt extremely unfulfilled. I took a mat pilates class at a local gym and fell in love. I decided to change careers, and I’ve been teaching ever since.
2) Why do you love to teach at Vault?
Teaching at vault feels like I’m working with family every day. Such a positive environment, lots of energy, support, and love from both staff and clients.
3) What is your favorite workout to do in your free time?
No question, yoga.
4) What’s one thing about you that most people don’t know?
I have a BA in psychology.
5) What’s the most rewarding thing about teaching pilates?
Watching people get stronger and more confident in any area of life. I observe people gain discipline, reach aesthetic goals, strengthen mental awareness through movement, and overcome injury.
6) What’s your favorite thing to do outside of fitness?
I love spending time with my husband, my parents, brother, and sister-in-law. And, of course, my dog Mama. I am blessed with an incredible family.
